Check-in can be a waiting game. our room wasn't ready even after arriving just an hour before the scheduled time. Also, road noise can be noticeable, which detracts from overall relaxation.

my stay at mitsui garden was almost tolerable, except for the excessive road noise and only two laundry machines for the whole hotel, can you believe it? i woudl have hoped for some complimentary snacks or something special since i obviously deserve it. this place is way overrated, i thought kanazawa deserved better.

i had a great time at mitsui garden hotel! the location was perfect, close to omichō market and temples. our comfort twin room was super spacious with a nice view. the thing that stood out was the shared bathing rooms — a unique experience with a beautiful city view. plus, the beauty products like the gold leaf cream were a lovely treat.

The room was super clean, and we enjoyed the public bath with a nice view over part of a castle park. The Japanese breakfast buffet? One of the best we've had, especially the local flavors like the broth.
It was a bit pricey, but still worth every yen.
